Berg-5*DSPII Receiver with TSR and DSP

The Berg-5*DSPII is the best in the state of the art performance to be found in a R/C receiver available today. Its small, lightweight size is due to the surface mount technology used throughout. The Transmitter Signal Recognition (TSR) of the receiver learns the characteristics, or the signature of the transmitter, and this makes it compatible with all brands of FM transmitters. The first four of the five output channels are fixed, and the fifth output port is programmable to be either channel 5 or channel 6 with two jumpers.

This small, lightweight receiver is a full-range, no compromise, super narrow band receiver using Digital Signal Processing (DSP) in the servo pulse decoder for optimum performance in even the worst RF environments. By itself, this receiver weighs only 10.0 grams. It is packaged in a strong, lightweight, fuel-proof, case (3.5 grams).

To save weight, some people take this receiver out of its case and protect it with thin heat-shrink material. To facilitate this, we have designed a special antenna restraint into this receiver. This does not mean that you can "pull all you want" on the antenna, but it is a vast improvement over what we have thus far seen in the industry.

Note: Futaba Radios with Frequency Synthesizers are not compatible with these receivers. However, all Transmitters with Hitec Spectra Module are fine.
